Chapters 1-2
Before you read

a. Negro is another word for Afro-American and they are the most discriminated raze.

f. He used Jimmy Lee Gray’s story that tells that he was sent to the gas chamber for his crimes. Something went wrong and after eight minutes, Gray was not dead and in his desperate attempts to breathe, he died banging his head against a steel pole behind his chair.
g. He includes morality in the story because the death penalty is something that cannot betaken lightly, you must know what your beliefs are and act based on them.

Most states in the US use it because the crimes in those states are bigger, while in other states the crimes go just as far as an armed robbery.
