THE GHOST TEACHER by the students of 2º CD
ACTO 1
(cartel del nombre del instituto. Fecha de creación 1930)
NARRATOR 1: My name is Liberta
NARRATOR 2: My name is Lorena
NARRATOR 1 and2: We are students in class 2º CD at Azuer High School.
NARRRATOR 2: Our school is very old. Mr. Wilson is the caretaker.
MR WILSON: HELLO¡
NARRATOR 1: He´s seventy-three years old. He was a student atAzuer when he was a boy.
NARRATOR 2: Everybody thinks that Mr. Wilson is strange. He walks around school with an old lamp at night.
NARRATOR 2: He says that there are ghosts in school. He sometimes sees them in the corridor at night.
NARRATOR 1: There are some classrooms that we don´t use. Mr. Wilson locks these rooms. He says that the ghosts live in these rooms.
NARRATOR 2: Do you believe him?Are you crazy?
NARRATOR 1: WELL, LET´S SEE….
++se oye el ruido de un coche+++
*tres alumnos entran corriendo y se paran en frente del coche*………..
JOHN: Look at that silver car! It´s a very old model but it looks new.
MARY: Who´s in the car, Tony?
TONY: It´s dark inside. I can´t see the driver.
(sonido de la puerta del coche)
ROS (voz en off): DON´T YOU SMELL OF SMOKE? SUDDENLY, THE CARSTARTS TO MOVE.
(suena el timbre)****CANCIÓN DEL COCHE FANTÁSTICO
MARY: did you see that strange car?
BETTY: yes. How weird! Nobody was driving it.
TOM: It is so oldddd. I´ve never seen that kind of car before.
RICHARD: impossible. It is a ghost car. Ja ja ja ja( se oyen risas)
**** entra el director en clase****
HEADMASTER: Your teacher is ill today. You have a new teacher. His name is Mr.Brown.
MR BROWN: Stand up! Stand up when I come in.++++lo dice gritando+++++My name is Mr. Brown. I´m your new teacher. Sit down, everybody. When you speak to me, call me SIR. I´m going to say your names. When you hear your name, answer HERE SIR.
++++COMIENZA A NOMBRAR A TODOS LOS ALUMNOS++++
MR BROWN: David Adams.
DAVID: HERE, SIR!
MR BROWN: SAM PETERS
SAM PETERS: HERE , SIR!
MR BROWN:BILLY REED… WHERE IS BILLY REED?
TONY: ( VOZ EN OFF) + Billy Reed sits next to me. But ………….(lo dice con cara de susto)+ ***TONY levanta la mano…
TONY: Billy isn´t here.
**** se abre la puerta con fuerza y Billy entra.se queda asustado mirando a Mr. Brown.
MR BROWN: Are you Billy Reed?
BILLY: Yes
MR BROWN: yes, sir (gritando)
BILLY: Oh, sorry. Yes, Sir. (asustado)
MR BROWN: YOU´RE LATE.Stand here until the end of the lesson
ROS: DON´T YOU THINK HE´S TOO MEAN?
Tony: (voz en off) . I DON´T THINK I LIKE MR BROWN. (MIRANDO AL PÚBLICO)
Mr BROWN: OPEN YOUR BOOKS
(Ahora los chicos cogen los libros de debajo de las mesas- son muy antiguos)
Mr Brown: Turn to page one hundred and thirty.
(los alumnos comienzan a abrir los libros y buscar la página solicitada)
ROS: THEY LOOKAMAZED!!!!!
Mr Brown: This is a new type of motor car. Do you know what model it is?
Tony: (voz en off de Nuevo ,hablando para el público): What does Mr Brown mean? That isn´t a new type of car.
Susan Smart: (levanta la mano) The car is a Phantom. It´s a 1935 model.
ROS: SUSAN IS A KNOW ALL!!
(Steven Dobson tira un lápiz a Susan y cae en su pelo. Susan se enfada quitándose el lápiz del pelo. AhoraMr Brown le tira una tiza a Steven. Todos rien)
ROS: SUSAN IS VERY ANGRY!!
Tony( voz en off): That was fantastic! Mr Brown is very good!
Mr Brown : Yes , Susan. This is a picture of a Phantom. The designers are my friends. They are Charles Rolls and Henry Royce. Henry Royce sometimes takes me for a drive in his car.
Billy: (está todavía de cara a la pared, dice: THAT´S IMPOSSIBLE! THESE MENARE DEAD!
(Mr Brown se enfada muchísimo)
Mr Brown: DON´T LIE, BILLY! WRITE “ITS WRONG TO LIE” ONE HUNDRED TIMES ON THE BLACKBOARD.
(Mr Brown escribe la frase en la pizarra para que Billy continue. Billy escribe la primera frase y dice al público:::)
BILLY: BUT I´M NOT LYING!
(Los chicos cuchichean pero hacen caso de Mr Brown)
