PLOT
The series follows the investigation into the murder of local girl Rosie Larsen, the
story has 3 mayor storylines: the police investigation into Rosie'smurder, the
attempts of her family to deal with their grief, and the fluctuating electoral
fortunes of a political campaign that becomes embroiled in the case.
The main character is Sarah Linden an experienced homicide detective who is
about to retire at a young age to follow her fiancé to California. On her last day
on the job, Linden is partnered with a rookie Homicide detective StephenHolder.
Holder's erratic and aggressive style contrasts with Linden's way of work. The
two are sent to investigate a possible crime scene in a local wilderness park
where a bloody woman’s sweater and a credit card belong to Stan Larsen .The
detectives talk to Larsen's wife Mitch who reveals that the family has just
returned from a weekend camping trip and that they had left theirseventeen year
old daughter Rosie behind. It soon turns out that no one seems to know where
Rosie was and her father Stan and the police frantically search for her.
Eventually, a car belonging to the mayoral campaign of city councilman Darren
Richmond is pulled from a lake in the park and Rosie is discovered drowned in
the trunk. That is where all the drama and mystery begins to find out who isRosie’s killer.

The series name is The Killing, it is an American serial crime drama developed by
Venna Sud.
The series begin with a woman running in the forest, you can also see very disturbing
memoirs that you assume she has, suddenly she runs up with a death pig.
The name of the woman is Sarah Linden, she is a homicide detective who is about to
retire to move to California fromSeattle, where she is living at the time. She has a
teenager son, Jack Linden, he is really upset about the moving.
We also see the beginning of Darren Richmond’s campaign for mayor of Seattle, he has
a romantic relation with his campaign adviser, Gwen Eaton.
The Larsen family seems to be a very close and loving family, when they return from
their camping trip, the one that their olderdaughter Rosie decide to miss so she could
stay to her school’s Halloween party,everything seems to be normal for the family when
suddenly 2 detectives knock the door asking for Mr. Larsen due to a bloody
woman’s sweater and a credit card belonging to Stan Larsen.
The two cops are Sarah and Stephen Holder, Sarah's homicide detective partner, they
begin to ask a lot of questions to Mrs.Larsen but suddenly Sarah sees a pink bike and
she realizes that the victim may have been the daughter.
The detectives, the Larsens and Rosie’s friend Sterling, begin to look for her without any
luck, but Sterling goes to talk to one oh her classmates, a guy really creapy and with a
very mysterious look, he tells her that Rosie is at her ex boyfriend Jasper house.
Quickly Sterling calls Mr.Larsen to give him the good news and he goes to jasper’s
house to look for his daughter but the only thing he found are Jasper playing video
game and a naked lady on his bed.
When the police think the mystery surrounding Sara is close they go to the woods to
pack all their things, but there Sarah sees a couple of young girl with a bicicle and starts
to think that something is really bad,...
