“Language Barrier”The lack of resources in schools causes Hispanics stops studying? Hispanics constituted 16.7 percent of the nation's total population and only 6.2% Percentage of them are full-time college study(Reference 4). The college-application process is hard enough. Between studying for admissions tests, writing essays, and filling out financial-aid forms, many students find it overwhelming. Now considerhow much harder it might be if English is not your first language. That's the situation for many Hispanic students. Experts and advocates say those barriers, in large part, are the reason for manystudent quit college...
One of the major problems that currently exist in this country is the separation of linguistic, cultural and ideological ways. This is because many of the collegesand work places don’t offer the necessary tools for those Spanish speaking people in the United States. Throughout the United States we use the English language for everything, leaving out the Spanishlanguage (which is the second largest in the world). That has helped us to separate both languages? It is a fact that 1.5 percent-6.2 percent of the student doesn’t pass their classes or drop off theclasses that they have because of the language barrier, and even that many of the Hispanics are unemployed because of the barrier and the lack of tools available today (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov.com ). Thelarge number of Latinos migrations to United State is notable in States like Arizona, California, Florida, New Mexico, New York, and Texas. For this reason I reaffirm my position that we shouldprovide more help to all people whose primary language is other than English.
