The Headless Horseman always rides fast-as fast as the wind.
The people of Sleepy Hollow know the reason for this. Whatis this reason?
Every night the Horseman rides back to the battlefield to look for his head and he always has to return to the graveyard before dawnand the Headless Horseman is always in a hurry because he is always late.

Ichabod Crane is a schoolmaster, but he often helps farmers with the workon their farms. Why?
Because he did not earn very much money from teaching, so he stayed at the houses of different farmers for a week and thefarmers gave a bed and food to Ichabod.

Why does Ichabod want to marry Katrina Van Tassel?
Because when her parents died, Katrina was going toinherit the farm.

Why does Brom Bones teach his dog to make a terrible noise?
Was a way of fighting him because Ichabod did not want to fight Brom.5
“I want to ask you a question,” Ichabod says to Katrina. What does he want to ask her?
If she wanted to be his girlfriend.

When Ichabodgets near the bridge by the old church, he remembers the stories that he has heard at Van Tassel´s party. Why?
Because if he could reach the bridge,he´ll be safe of the terrible race and the Horseman could not pass the bridge near the church.

“Why is that pumpkin here? It´s very strange,” says HansVan Ripper. Why is the broken pumpkin near the bank of the river?
Because it had been used to scare Ichabod as the head of Headless Horseman.
