Opening:

Fatima: Fatima is a young oasis, this girl falls in love with Santiago when it is in Africa.

Trader Window: Gives Santiago an opportunity to work in his shop and Santiago gives ideas to the merchant on the store.
Englishman: another adventurer trying to reach theirown personal legend, he becomes good friends with Santiago in his way.
Complications:
- Santiago had to work almost a year in Africa with a merchant because robbers stole his money.
- Santiago fellin love with the daughter of the merchant.
- In the pyramids of Egypt met with desert bandits also wanted a treasure.
Conflict: The conflict of the book is Santiago’s personal tension betweencompleting his personal legend to travel all the way to Egypt to find a treasure at the pyramids and settling along the way for the treasures he has already earned.
Climax: Santiago struggles to turnhimself into the wind while being held by warring tribesman in the Sahara desert.
Resolution: Santiago arrives at the pyramids, but in a twist, he must go back to Spain as he learns that his treasure wasburied in an abandoned church by a sycamore tree where he started his journey.
