Polar bears or white bear are characterizing this second name by its white fur, they are called “The King of the Arctic” too because they live only in the northernarctic, they are very well suited to the cold arctic, they spend most of the time on ice floes, rarely enter areas of heavy ice because there is little food in these regions, they are the first mammalsmeat eater in the world.
Identification:
Height: Average adult male 2.5 to 3.0 meters
Average adult female 1.8 to 2.5 meters
Weight: Average adult male between 250 to 600kilograms and adult female are weighing between 100 to 300 kilograms.
Color: The skin, nose, eyes and lips are black, but the fur is white.
Characteristics and physical description:
The polar bearis easily recognized by its white fur. It has a relatively longer neck and smaller head than the others bears species and the front paws, which are used for padding, are very large, when swimmingtheir back legs hang behind.
They are also great swimmers and will swim from ice floe to ice floe. They have been seen swimming 50 miles away from any ice or land.
They sexually mature at 5 to 8years; they are polygamous, with 1 to 3 cubs every 28 months. Pregnant females dig a den in October through December where cubs are born from December to January and stay until March or April. Lactationlasts 28 months; they may live 25 to 30 years.
Diet:
They eat seals, fish some little birds and their eggs and occasionally eat other mammals. They don’t drink water because they get all theliquids that they need from the animals that they eat.
Habitat:
Floes Ice in the northern arctic.

The human race.
