The real frienship
The novel isrenowned for its pragmatic message of life itself. If excretes realism in the way it characterizes life as a constant strain in which one must contend with numerous obstacles, like the protagonists,George and Lennie do during the story. This book narrates nothing but the reality about 1930's America which was loneliness and friendship.
For me the main thing this book is trying to tell is howimportant the friendship and how bitter the loneliness were at that time.
A character that called my attention was Curley's wife. A lonely girl who is always looking for company or someone who shecould talk with. In my opinion, she is victim of Curley, because he doesn't let her be, he is selfish and always looks after his own satisfaction. He doesn't care how the other people feel, and that isthe cause of his tragic death in Lennies's hands.
Lennie and George are the two main characters that come along the book with the great friendship between them. These two guys have been together forsuch a long time since their childhood and are now travelling around the country together to find a ranch for them to work at. The most interesting thing about these two good friends appears when welook at both their appearances and characteristic features.
