Mary Lennox-She is the main character, her parents died in India in a fire. She moved in with her uncle in Yorkshire, England when she got thereshe was very spoiled and selfish but then she started to change and became friendly and kind.
Collin Craven- he is the cousin of Mary. Which everyone thinks that he is gravely ill and think he will diesoon. He hasn’t got out of his bed since he was a baby he doesn’t know how to walk he hasn’t gone out side he has been in the same room since he was born. He was spoiled and selfish at first but thenhe met Mary and he became kind.
Dickon Sowerby-this young man is a friend of Mary where she meets in the garden, he is 2 or 3 years older than Mary and Collin .He is very kind and sweet and muchmore he is a good person and he was also Martha’s brother. He has a gifted the gifted is that he can charm animals and people as well.
Martha Sowerby-she is the sister of Dickon .She is one of the maidsin the mansion she assists Mary and that’s how they become friends. She is very nice and gentle she like a super mom.
Ben Weather staff - is a gruff elderly gardener who is only permitted to stay atMisselthwaite because he was a favorite of the late Mistress Craven.
Archibald Craven- he is Collins dad and Mary’s uncle. He is in a great depression ever since Collins mom died 10 years ago hedoesn't look at his son because he looks too much like her.
Lilias Carven- she is the twin sister of Mary’s mother. She was the wife of Archibald but she died when she gave birth to Collin. In the booksaid that she was always smiling and happy.

Summary

There is this girl named Marry who her parents died in India by a fire. They moved her to her uncle’s house in Yorkshire, England. When shegets there she wasn’t happy she mad she doesn't know how to cry so she didn’t cry when her parents die. When she got there the first morning she didn’t know how to get dress there Martha helped her....
