Along the way, while seeking refuge in an inn, the young adventurer who has only eighteen, challenge to duel with defiantarrogance three gentlemen of a bad marriage: Athos, gentle man who lost his fortune, Porthos, family noble, great size and good heart, and Aramis, an aspiring monk who was snatched from the path ofthe church for an adventure.

The challenge will culminate in the inn in Paris, where challenger and challenged are reunited and arrange duels that are interrupted by the guards of Cardinal Richelieu,a situation that forces the enemy to make a single opposite the King's soldiers. The victory over the Cardinal's henchmen makes friends that moment on, the four swords of these men always fight onthe same side.

The Three Musketeers, which as seen are actually four live an adventure series that won them a large reputation. This makes them worthy of being presented to the King, who receives andgives himself the honor of D'Artagnan enter the company of royal guards. It is precisely D'Artagnan who completes the feat because his companions were badly injured on the road. All the hatred of Richelieu is then directed towards the young hero and to channel ituses Milady again, the former wife of Athos, who in vain tries to poison you four adventurers, stabs himself and poisons Buckingham Costanza, Queen's maid and bride of D'Artagnan.
