The Trojan Horse
So the Greeks didit. And when the horse was built, some soldiers get inside it and others set fire to the camp and pretended to sail back and return to Greece, but theydidn´t. They acted like they had given up and left. But really they hid just nearby.
Then, Trojans delighted came out of the city through the gates andthey found the horse. They thought it was very curious and asked: "What is it?" each other. Nobody knew. Then, they found a Greek soldier nearby. Greeksleft him there to explain Trojans what the horse was for. He said it was an offering to Athena. So, they pulled the big horse into the city of Troy. Itwas so big it wouldn't go through the gate, and they had to tear down a piece of the city wall to get it in. They left it at the temple of Athena, and thenthe Trojans had a big party to celebrate the end of the war.
Finally everyone fell asleep, and in that moment the Greek soldiers crept out of the TrojanHorse and killed the guards on the walls. They signalled to the other Greeks to attack Troy. They could get in now because the walls were torn down.There was a big bloody battle and the Greeks won. All the Trojan men were killed, and all the women and children were taken back to Greece as slaves.
