The Truth Behind The Curtains
Real Purpose of Environmental Activities
Environmentalism is a concern for the preservation,restoration, or improvement of the natural environment, such as the conservation of natural resources, prevention of pollution, and certain land use actions. When you hear this word what do you think about?Do you support them? Do you believe them? In theory, this word is only referred to the conservation of the environment and the support of groups who fight for that. In practice, this term has beencorrupted by different motivations such as ignorance, political ideologies and own benefit. Due to this, the people should consider factors like those before choosing which side support.
First of all,more than half of the people who attend to the environmental activities do not know the reasons for what they are fighting for or the benefits of certain activities that they totally reject. They arejust following a leader who knows that they lack of knowledge and makes them do whatever he/she wants, or they are just killing their free time by supporting people with strange political, social oreconomical ideas. For example there is a group of people who rejects the genetically modified food, without knowing that this technological advance can solve the problem of the hunger in Africa. Due tothis factor, the real purpose of these activities is not well known and in most cases the amount of people that those meetings have cannot be compared with the quantity of persons who really believeand support a real cause.
Secondly, the political ideologies have been corrupting this movement since it was born. Most of the time the leaders of these activities just go against governments, publicemployees and laws instead of promote real topics like saving endangered species and the rain forest, or searching for alternative types of energy.
