The Use Of Fossil Fuels

Is the use of fossil fuels worth the risk? How can it change our future?
In the XXI century, the worst fear is that our resources can ran out in a few years. If we finally start to run out of theseenergy resources there would be a bigger recession because we would have to pay a lot more than we now do for petrol, for example.
Energy resources are everything we can take energy from by doingdifferent processes. They are usually grouped into two categories; depending on how the energy is formed and its availability. Although we know it, we continue bringing profit to our country but not toour planet.
The Hubbert peak theory posits that for any given geographical area, from an individual oil-producing region to the planet as a whole, the rate of petroleum production tends to follow abell-shaped curve. It is one of the primary theories on peak oil. (Wikipedia, 2012)
You will never see cheap gasoline again. You will probably never see cheap energy again. Oil, natural gas and coalare set to peak and go into decline within the next decade, and no technology can change that. (Nelder, 2009) You reach the peak when resources are too difficult to extract, too expensive, or arereplaced by some other resource much cheaper or better. Fortunately we have now Natural resources.
So, does the use of fossil fuels really worth the risk?
The thing is that fossil fuels are essential toour everyday lives; without these fuels we would not be able to run our cars, heat our homes, or have electricity. These fossil fuels, oil, natural gas, and coal are beneficial for us. But on theother hand the burning of fossil fuels causes serious harm to the environment and the combustion of these fuels is largely to blame for the greenhouse effect.
