Executive
First, the Executive comprises the President, Vice Presidents and Cabinet Ministers. That is, constitutionally enshrined pluripersonalidad of this power under the constitution of 1949.Art. 130. And Vice President are elected simultaneously and in a majority of votes exceeding 40% of the total number of votes validly cast. If this does not happen will be another vote on the firstSunday of April of that year between the two majority, being chosen in this action which has a majority of votes.

Punishment or enact appropriate laws, regulate, implement and ensure compliance.

To be President you must beCosta Rican by birth and citizenship rights, being a layman (a priest or minister can not aspire to this position) and be over 30 years.
