The titanic :
The Titanic was in its time the largest and luxurious passenger ship in the world. weighed over 46 tons. The ship left England on April 10, 1912 bound forCherbourg. were 2227 people on board. Nobody thought that this huge ship could undir because it met all standards and was the most modern technological and their times. was made tobe the most famous in the world .no to sink, for being the bigest. his captain was Mr. Edward John Smith
The disaster:
Frederick Fleet at 11pm saw the iceberg right in front ofthe boat. advised the captain but it was too late. the ship struck the iceberg on the side and caused irreparable damage to the ship. water slowly began to fill thecompartments. the stern was raised to 30 degrees. 5 compartments were filled and the ship split in 2. the bow went down first and crawled to the stern. The 2 halves are separated and finallysank.
The victims
It might have saved many lives over, but the poor preparation of the crew would not allow. The lifeboats were filled to half capacity/. The "women andchildren first" protocol WAS Generally Followed for the loading of the Lifeboats and MOST of the male Passengers and crew aboard Were left. / Almost all of Those in the water diedof hypothermia, cardiac arrest, drowning or within The minutes. at that time 710 people Survived the disaster/ but 1.514 people lost Their Lives. Like the capitan and, like theorquest , .at that time They were very discriminating. only 1 child died of first class. But 52 children in third class died.

This museum is located in Belfast.was inaugurated recently. on April 15, 1992 in the morning at the same time that the Titanic shipwreck. museum is a very modern and has more than 300 real objects of titanic
