Venezuela is a country with plenty natural resources; it is located in South America, where people can still find wilderness and virgin grounds to be discovered.One of the wonders found in Venezuela is a quiet and beautiful village called Todasana. Todasana is one of my favorite places in the world becuase I have spent the best moments of my life there, wherethe beaches and rivers were the witnesses of my childhood. Todasana is a hidden paradise surrounded by green and giant mountains and clear water that identifies the Caribbean Sea.
Every morning Iwoke up in Todasana, I looked up to the shiny and blue sky and the hot sun made me leave my bed and run to the beach. In this magic place, people seemed to be always happy and relaxed, their faces showedan inner peace that I had never seen anywhere else. The residents preserved their customs and traditions; they used to sit outside their houses bellow the shade of the trees to share stories whileeating delicious empanadas. In every Todasana’s corner I could smell the fresh and salty scent of the sea. In this village, there was always something different to do, like fishing, hunting, surfing andriding bicycles. I always wore shorts and walked barefoot while sharing unforgettable moments with my friends; we were like a huge family. I do not remember caring about the warm floor or the brightsun, we were just living the life. My friends and I fished and ate what we caught; it tasted like glory for us, always juicy and soft. In Todasana, I lived many adventures and felt fascinated with allthe nature that surrounded me.
I have many memories from Todasana, which I have in my mind every time I have made a desicion in my life, since these experiences shaped the man I am today. One of thethings that caught my attention from the inhabitants of this little village was all the effort that the people did to survive, regardless of what they had to do to get ahead.
