ESTADO DELTA AMACURO
El estado Delta Amacuro, situado al este de Venezuela, alberga el delta del río Orinoco. Limita al norte con el Golfo de Paria y el Océano Atlántico, al sur con el estado Bolívar, al este con el Océano Atlántico y el territorio en reclamación de la Guayana Esequiba y al oeste con el estado Monagas.

The Delta Amacuro, located east of Venezuela, home to the Orinoco River delta. Bounded on the north by the Gulf of Paria and the Atlantic Ocean, on the south by the state of Bolivar, on the east by the Atlantic Ocean and the disputed territory of Guyana Essequibo and west by the state of Monagas.

ESCUDO
El escudo de armas del Estado Delta Amacuro está terciado en banda, en elprimar cuartel de esmalte azur (color azul) vemos una estrella de oro, que representa a la antigua provincia de Guayana, de la cual formó parte en la colonia y luego después de la independencia, luego fué integrado al Estado Bolívar desde 1864, siendo desmembrado en 1909 de esta última entidad para constituirse como entidad separada. En el cuartel central de gules (esmalte rojo) lleva un caduceo deoro simbolizando el comecio y las riquezas del estado, el tercer cuartel está representado en sus colores naturales la "Sierra de Imataca", donde se han hallado gran riqueza minera y es una enorme reserva forestal. A manera de Cimera lleva la efigie del "Libertador Simón Bolívar", como símbolo de los ideales republicanos y en homenaje del gran hombre americano. Trae a manera de Tenantes (Soportedel escudo. Cualquier figura humana o semi-humana que sirve de soporte o que parecen que lo sostienen o custodian) un guerrero indígena con una maza, símbolo de la estirpe nacional y una mujer con una hoz representando a la agricultura y a la fertilidad de la tierra.
El esudo descanza sobre un motivo ornamental con los diversos frutos de la tierra, como homenaje a esta tierra tan dadivosa y rica.En una cinta que cuelga sobre el ornamento que sirve de base al escudo se puede leer: "PAZ EN LA FEFDERACION", como enseña de esperanza para la nación.
