1.  Reading tips:
The reading comprehension sector of the TOEFL test consists of five reading passages, each followed by a number of reading comprehension and vocabulary questions. Time isdefinitely a factor in this section, therefore, you need to make the most efficient use of time.The following method is the best way of attacking a reading passage to get the most questions correct in alimited amount of time.
-First, frequently reading academic texts in natural sciences, North American history, social sciences, arts, and biographies provides excellent preparation for TOEFL Reading theInternet is a great resource for these materials; also, in libraries, you can check out books or magazines. Also try watch movies or series in English, and if you need captions try to use the Englishsubtitles.
-Second, for making a better exam try using this tips every time you read, because this will be very fruitful when you make the TOEFL exam.
*Increase vocabulary. Reading frequently is thebest way to improve your vocabulary.
*Identify major points, a good way for doing this is to skim the paragraph.
      *After skimming a paragraph, read it again more carefully and write down whatyou think is important.
      *Identify some of the unfamiliar words in the passage and try guessing the meaning from the context.
      * Look ahead at the questions to determine what type ofquestions you must answer.
      *Find the section of the passage that deals with each question.
      *Scan passages to find key facts (dates, numbers, terms) and information.
      *Practice makinginferences and drawing conclusions based on what is implied in the passage as a whole.
      *Mark difficult or time-consuming answers,in your answer sheet, so that you can come back to them later ifyou have time, at the end erase those marks.
      *Do not spend more than 10 minutes on any reading.
      *Practice frequently to increase reading rate and fluency.
