Thomas Edward Brady, Jr. (August 3, 1977) is a football player who plays in the position of quarterback for the New England Patriots in theNational Football League. Having participated as a varsity player at Michigan, Brady was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round pick in 2000, alsoknown as the 2000 National Football League Draft.

Due to its excellent performance as a player in the regular season and postseason (an NFL MVP, two SuperBowl MVP), has been widely recognized as one of the best quarterbacks of his era. [1] has participated in four Super Bowls, winning three of them (XXXVI,XXXVIII, XXXIX). It has also won two awards as most valuable player, also known as Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award, in Super Bowls XXXVI and XXXVIII. It hasalso been invited on four occasions to Pro Bowls, and has the NFL record for highest number of touchdowns in a season with fifty. Brady was named SportsIllustrated as "Sportsman of the Year" in 2005. He also helped set the record for the longest consecutive streak in the history of the NFL with twenty wins in twoseasons. [2]

In 2007, he became the first quarterback to lead the team to get the record for wins (16-0) regular season. [3] He was again named the"Athlete of the Year in The Sporting News the second time in his career. [4] He was also awarded with the NFL Most Valuable Player, as well as male Athlete of theYear by the Associated Press, and was the first time I received that honor, and the first time a player the NFL has been praised since Joe Montana won in 1990.
