Tom sawyer: is a mischievous, bold, adventurous kid, he is an orphaned boy who lives in the care of his Aunt Polly
Joe Harper: is one of tom’s friends
Huckleberry Finn: is a tom’sfriend, he is the son of the town drunkard, a friend of Tom.
Aunt Polly: she is the tom’s aunt, she take care of tom
Injun Joe: is one of the graverobbers and he killed to Doctor Robinson
Muff potter:is a drunk man, he is judged unfairly about of the doctor Robinson murder.
Becky Thatcher: Becky is the daughter of the new County Judge; she is blond girl with blue eyes.

SETTING
He livesin St. Petersburg a small town in southwestern United States along the Mississippi River. Another setting is the graveyard where the Injun Joe killed to doctor Robinson, Also is the Jackson Island wheretom, Joe and Huck spend few days alone, another setting is the McDougal’s cave where tom and Becky get lost for three days.

PLOT
A n imaginative and mischievous boy named Tom Sawyer lives with hisAunt Polly and his half-brother, Sid, in the Mississippi River town of St. Petersburg, Missouri.

Tom falls in love with Becky Thatcher, a new girl in town. Tom accompanies Huckleberry Finn, to thegraveyard at night to see ghosts. At the graveyard, they witness the murder of Dr. Robinson by the Injun Joe. Scared, Tom and Huck run away and swear not to tell anyone what they have seen. Injun Joeblames his companion, Muff Potter, for the crime. Potter is arrested.

Tom, Huck, and Tom’s friend Joe Harper run away to an island in search to adventures. While they are enjoying their freedom,the boys see that the community is looking in the river for their bodies. Tom back to the village one night to observe the commotion. Then Tom had the idea of appearing at his funeral and surprisingeveryone.
Soon Muff Potter’s trial begins, and Tom, overcome by guilt, testifies against Injun Joe. Potter is acquitted, but Injun Joe flees the courtroom through a window.
Summer arrives, and Tom...
