El proyecto consiste en la elaboración del Manual de Mantenimiento Preventivo del Torno, en el área del
Taller Mecánico, dirigido a la Industria de Motores Eléctricos S.A. de C.V. (IMESA), ubicada en
Altamira, Tamaulipas.
La presente investigación da a conocer de forma fácil cómorealizar el mantenimiento preventivo del
torno, enfocado al personal que trabaja en la industria, específicamente en el Taller Mecánico. Dicho
manual cuenta con información necesaria para dar mantenimiento a las partes principales del torno, de
igual forma destaca la función que realiza cada uno de estos elementos.
El proyecto tiene como finalidad reducir las fallas mecánicas y desgastes del torno,que se presentan en
un momento inesperado. Por ello, el manual es funcional para la empresa ya que tiende a reducir gastos
ocasionados por la compra de refacciones para el equipo, también disminuye pérdidas de tiempo
ocasionadas por la reparación.
Finalmente cabe mencionar que el lector encontrará un calendario de mantenimiento preventivo del torno
paralelo, el cual deberá aplicarse paracumplir con el objetivo del proyecto, ya que es a beneficio de la
empresa.

The project is thedevelopment of the Preventive Maintenance Manual lathe, in the area of your shop, for
Electric Motors Industry SA of C.V. (IMES), located in Altamira, Tamaulipas.
This research reveals how to easily perform preventive maintenance of the winch, focused staff working
in the industry, specifically in the repair shop. This manual contains information necessary to maintain the
key parts of the lathe,similarly emphasizes the role that performs each of these elements.
The project aims to reduce wear and mechanical failure of the winch, which are presented in an
unexpected moment. Therefore, the manual is essential to the company as it tends to reduce expenditure on
purchasing spare parts for the equipment also reduces wasted time caused by the repair.
Finally it is worth mentioning that thereader will find a schedule of preventive maintenance over time,
which should be applied to achieve the objective of the project, as it is for the benefit of the company.
