Renaissance Created a New society

After the Middle Agesrenaissance arose with new proposals…the Black Death and sudden changes in the way of governing allowed changes in the way people think. Throughout that period the church had the most power and mostamount of money. The Pope became more and more corrupt, he asked for more taxes to gain more money, and he started selling indulgences to the poor to make them think they would go to heaven no wonderwhat they did. Then a monk in Germany named Martin Luther started realizing that maybe the truth wasn´t found in what the church said or did; so he started a reformation that went against some practicesthat the church realized. Throughout his life Luther started a new religious movement that believed on God but not on the church as the main authority. This for sure influenced social and politicallife in Europe by giving a right of choosing people a different religion, which would give them the possibility of following God, as they should. By the reformations established thanks to Lutherchanges in the rights of the people and in the power.

No wonder what social class every Christian is part of the church, he is granted Heaven, and their is no need of letter of pardon just following whatthe scriptures say. There was no need of buying a letter of pardon, Martin Luther said that buying a buying indulgences was just buying a paper, it didn`t meant much, just some beautiful words withno purpose at all. He also said that the church was wrong by thinking they as mortals were allowed to promise someone heaven, because according to the Bible the only one allowed to do that is God…theonly one allowed to judge is God.
