POLITICAL SITUATION IN BURMA

Burma it’s a country ubicated in southeast Asia bordered by China, Thailand, India, etc. it has a coast line along the bay of Bengal, it’s the 24th more populouscountry in the world with its population over 6o millions of people, the country it’s under a military government or system since 1962.

1. The purpose of the democratic elections of 2007 was tofulfill the what people was asking for, like the change of the government, because the people don’t feels protected, they feel worry, scare, sadness, etc. so for that reason the elections were do it,Aung San Suu Kyi was the favorite candidate, she is a leader, a very strong women that want the best for their community, so she is fighting for the rights of her town, so the results of the democraticelections, was that Aung San won those elections bad the military government don’t accept the results so they says that the military party won, so it was unfair for the reason that the actual militarygovernment use their influences and power to changes the results of the elections.
2. The role of Aung San Suu Kyi is to be a leader for the burmanese town, a leader that guide peacefully andgiving them absolute encourage for their face their fears (government) and makes fulfill their rights like voice and free of speech, so Aung it’s a strong women who win the appreciation of all burmanesepeople, so she its trying to win political power and postulate themselves in the democratic elections for she became the new president of Burma that can guide them for a new time of prosperity.
3.The possibility to have a new president are so low, because it’s a military government, and they also control the army, so they can’t face or fight with the army, it will be a suicide, because theydoesn’t have weapons like the army, the only have knifes, rocks, etc. the other option can be that the army unique with the people and face the government for make a le coup de eta for kick out that...
