1 Introduction
This document contains information regarding the drivers for UPEK's TouchChip and TouchStrip authentication hardware.

2 Package Contents
This package includes driver files for WindowsXP/Server2003/Vista/Server2008 and files for the Windows 7 / Server 2008 R2 legacy mode driver. The Windows 7 / Server 2008 R2 legacy driver is intended for use by applications that were originally written for Vista and older systems and that DO NOT use the new Windows 7 Biometric Framework (WBF or WinBio). WBF is a new Microsoft technology introduced in Windows 7 which provides support forfingerprint biometric devices through a new set of components. If you need a WinBio driver for Windows 7 / Server 2008 R2, please download the alternative driver package.
