TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION
1. TOYOTA:
Toyota Motor Corporation, commonly known simply as Toyota and abbreviated as TMC, is a multinational corporation headquartered in Japan. In 2009, Toyota Motor Corporation employed 71,116 people worldwide (total Toyota 320,808). TMC is the world's largest automobile maker by sales and production.
The company was founded in 1933 by Kiichiro Toyoda. Sincethen, Toyota has become one of the Japanese companies more profitable and more successful and one of the leading corporations in the automotive industry introducing the first automatic parked in the industry commercially available (Advanced Parking Guidance System), a box of eight-speed automatic transmission, guide traffic in real time with dynamic reallocation of road and a four-zone climatecontrol with infrared technology in their models of the Lexus division.
It is also one of the few car companies that has produced and promoted extensively cars based on a hybrid fuel technology as the Prius, Toyota and even in the luxury car division Lexus. Toyota consistently listed as the manufacturer of one of the most reliable cars in the world according to surveys and analysis.

Theheadquarters of Toyota is located in Toyota, Aichi, Japan. Toyota also provides financial services through its subsidiary, Toyota Financial Services and participates in other lines of business. Manufacture vehicles sold in the United States under the brand names Toyota, Scion and Lexus. Toyota also has major investments in Daihatsu and Hino, and 8.7% of Fuji Heavy Industries, which manufactures Subaruvehicles.

2.1. Toyota in Perú :
Toyota came to Peru in 1967 with the inauguration of the plant and the launch window of the first truck Stout assembled in the country. It also opens the spare parts in Breña.
1968 Begins the assembly of the Land Cruiser and Crown models.
1971 Toyota President Eiji Toyoda gives his first visit to the plant in Peru.
1973 Toyota obtained the license tomanufacture engines and transmissions, starting at the window plant.
1976 They settled administrative offices in San Isidro and the local New .---- Services Department (which we are going to apply outsourcing)
1981 Toyota Peru has become the leading distributor of spare parts in Latin America.

1983 Inaugurates the largest stock of spare parts of Latin America in Peru.

2.CHARACTERISTICS OF THE BUSINESS:
Toyota's management philosophy has evolved from the company's origins and has been reflected in the terms "Lean Manufacturing" and Just In Time Production, which it was instrumental in developing. Toyota's managerial values and business methods are known collectively as the Toyota Way.
In April 2001 the Toyota Motor Corporation adopted the "Toyota Way 2001," anexpression of values and conduct guidelines that all Toyota employees should embrace. Under the two headings of Respect for People and Continuous Improvement, Toyota summarizes its values and conduct guidelines with the following five principles:
* Challenge
* Kaizen (improvement)
* Genchi Genbutsu (go and see)
* Respect
* Teamwork
According to external observers, the Toyota Way hasfour components:
1. Long-term thinking as a basis for management decisions.
2. A process for problem-solving.
3. Adding value to the organization by developing its people.
4. Recognizing that continuously solving root problems drives organizational learning.

3. PRODUCTS:

Basically, Toyota manufactures cars, but also manufactures other kind of simple and cheap machinery inlower quantities; for instance: Sewing machines.
But they’re real business is concentrated in 4 famous brands:

Lexus: Is Toyota’s brand for luxury car division and the best selling. Recognized for having developed a high reputation for the reliability of their vehicles and the quality of customeraservice.
