RESUMEN
El propósito de este artículo es
reflexionar sobre la práctica
educativa actual en razón no sólo
de lo que pensadores y teóricos
han escrito, sino de la propia
vivencia de quien escribe. En él
asumimos posición de defensa del
proceso andragógico y de la teoría
constructivista, pero también
hemosquerido advertir sobre
algunas
deformadas
interpretaciones o intencionales
usos mercantilistas de estas
corrientes llamadas a formar
hombres para la vida digna.

KNOWLEDGE

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this Iarticulate it
is to not only meditate on the
current educational practice in
reason of that that thinkers and
theoretical they have written, but
of the own life of who writes. In
him we assume position of
defense of the process andragogy
and of the theory constructivism,
but we have also wanted to notice
on some deformed interpretations
or intentional mercantilist uses of
these currents callto form men for
the worthy life. Regrettably the
world academic-intellectual has
not escaped from the current
tendencies of to move away from
all that represents old theories and
to continue after the new
currents, many times without
having clear the sense of what
they are and toward where it
directs them. This “intellectual
idiom” it can be caused, among
other, for the little formationtheoretical epistemológical or for
the simple comfort of not
questioning what is presented as
novel. In the concrete case of the
education we have assumed
position it criticizes in front of the
violent career for the use of the
new technologies without any
analysis type, understanding of
their relevancy in the space
historical context.

ANTECEDENTES: CONOCIMIENTO Y EDUCACIÓN
El hombre desde su más remoto origen ha buscado conocer, interpretar
su entorno, la existencia misma, eso que normalmente llamamos la
realidad. Primero fue el conocimiento mágico – religioso, el más antiguo
y aún existente forma de explicar la realidad, luego el conocimiento
filosófico, laexplicación lógica, el dominio del saber, después, hace
apenas tres siglos, el conocimiento científico, la búsqueda de la
verdad basada fundamentalmente en la aplicación de un método
riguroso, verificable y demostrable. Actualmente con la revolución
tecnológica se habla de la sociedad del conocimiento.
Hoy, en el debate postmoderno, se discute en torno a las limitaciones y
prepotencias delconocimiento científico, que ha pretendido llevar a la
realidad a un juego de variables manipulables y subestimar el pensamiento
mítico, el conocimiento filosófico y el conocimiento común que representa
a las mayorías. El conocimiento científico ha sido y será el de una elite.
