LA BALISTICA EN LA INVESTIGACIÓN CRIMINAL PARA E L
ESCLARECIMIENTO DE HOMICIDIOS

RESUMEN: La balística como ciencia, aplicándola desde su parte experimental
y

práctica ayudara a investigar la realización de un hecho punible donde han

sido empleadas armas de fuego, para que mediante losdiferentes elementos que
se pueden tomar, como proyectiles, fragmentos, vainillas, municiones, se puedan
establecer

fectores

como la uniprocedencia

entre los elementos materiales

probatorios recolectados y las evidencias físicas encontradas en las victimas, en el
momento que se haya realizado la diligencia de necropsia, además es de gran
importancia el análisis de los orificios de entrada y salidade los proyectiles, ya
que de acuerdo a su forma, bordes y rastros encontrados alrededor de este se
podrá determinar características como

movimientos, dirección, recorrido y

características especiales, y aproximarse a resolver interrogantes propias de las
hipótesis planteadas, pudiéndose imputar al agresor o sujeto activo del hecho, su
participación en el hecho delictivo.

Al investigar

el presunto hecho delictivocomo el homicidio con arma de

fuego de un ciudadano en un establecimiento comercial del barrio San Antonio de
la ciudad de Bogotá, es importante, a partir del orificio de entrada

en la parte

parietal derecha del occiso, reconstruir los ángulos de incidencia para determinar
algunos elementos importantes como la posible posición, del agresor, el tipo de
arma empleada y la distancia desde la que fueaccionada.
Así pues es importante valorar que la participación del experto perito en
balística es conveniente en la reconstrucción de los hechos,

ya que su

apreciación y experiencia permite obtener una determinación más objetiva de los
sucesos materia de investigación.

ABSTRACT: Ballistics as a science, applied since its experimental part and

Citizen in a commercial establishment in the neighborhood San Antonio de Bogotá,

incidence some important elements to determine the possible position of theaggressor, the type of weapon used and the distance from which he was driven.
