1) Las Magistraturas eran honorarias y colegiadas, es decir, desempeñada por más de una persona. Es característico de la Época Romana conocida como “La republica”Eran los ciudadanos quienes elegían a través de su voto, quienes ocupaban dichos cargos a través de comicios.
Los comicios eran reuniones que realizaban los romanos para expresar su opinión sobre ciertos asuntos de importancia. Estos comicios solo podían celebrarse a requerimiento de los cónsules, en días determinados por la costumbre y una vez obtenida la aprobación de los dioses, expresadopor augurios favorables. Había 2 formas de comicios: El comicio por “curias” y el comicio por “Centurias”
Comicio por curias: Estaba a cargo de los patricios, generalmente lo hacían para pronunciarse sobre asuntos de orden religioso y asuntos de defensas
Comicios por Centurias: Estaban a cargo tanto de los patricios como de los plebeyos, se realizaban para cuestiones de trascendencia...
