STUDENT EXCHANGE EXPERIENCE:

Nowadays in our society, we have seen how the culture and new ways of life are changing with the time. In the past, our ancestors were not worried aboutlearning other languages or knowing people from other countries to gain more knowledge.
Ups and downs make part of everyday human’s life that is why one of my ups last year was the idea of going to anothercountry on my own. Through this new experience you learn how to be more responsible, mature and independent and those factors made me take the decision of going to Manchester (England), study thisnew accent and know about their culture. In my personal case the most difficult part of this adventure was convince to my mother, because she thought I was so innocent to face this new challenge thatGod had placed in my path. Finally my mom accepted my decision and in April I started the best experience ever.
I could not imagine that I was going to stay away from my relatives for 7 months: itmade me get sad but I was aware of the great effort that my parents were doing and that motivates me more to learn and grow as a person. Once I got there, I had a shock because that culture wascompletely different from mine and the first thing I noticed was how they drove a car. Simple things like those, made my stay more interesting, amazing and satisfactory for my life.
This experience I livedwas enriching not only because I improve my English, but also it made me know people from whole the world, learn their culture, make new friends, have new way of life and really appreciate what yourfamily do for your welfare.
This up in my life has taught me 2 principal things. The first one is that the new people you meet every day with the time will be your family and the only people with whomyou can count and you will know that the distance will not anything when real friendship exists.
