Running

Intro
The video is divided into 2 macro-sections:
1 The Running 2 The Surreal Flashbacks
These two sections are alternated throughout the whole duration of the video. (see page 11-12-13) Following  the literal meaning  of the song,  it  will mean  running  away  from the pressures  and stress of the society represented  by more and more urbanization.  The protagonist, always keeping running, will gradually pass  from  a refined  city  crowded with  cars,  people,  bars and  shops,  slums,  to degraded suburbs and then through fields and animals, until he gets to mountainous, semi-desert places, symbol of interior peace.

The  Flashbacks,  however, are not  just surreal images that are created  inthe mind of  protagonist as he runs.  Initially  they'll be  related to frustrating situations, as the  girl who  smiles at you with her exceeding lipstick, or the grandfather, who has gone mad, etc.

The actors playing these surreal scenes are members of the group  every time with different make-up with the addition of other interpreters listed. In principle,  the flashbacks  have  someconnection  with what happens  during the race,  simply for the  presence of the same object in  both realities, running  and fl a s h b a c k s .  A t t h e b e g i n n i n g t h e  s t r o n g l i n k  b e t w e e n r e a l i t y a n d surreality is mostly psycho-philosophical, then gradually the chief character will reach the most  serene and  unspoiled  places and also his mind begins to find peaceimagining situations gradually more zen.

Running

The Running
The race will start in the middle of the city. Roman, the hero during his race "to freedom", decides to vent about some people that happen to pass in front of him, for example by flying in the air (slow motion) including a coffee tray, a bartender!  Often his own mental images( the flashbacks) will let him shoot anger on passingpeople, for example in this scene just described, we'll see in the flashback a coffee contextualized in a completely different situation, but it will be the sight of the coffee to make him "get a beast". The actors in the street scene will be again the components of the band made-up and wigged according to the scene. The race of the protagonist, gradually passes through 4 different locations: City -Suburb - Field - Mountain Country. During the race, the situations, especially in cities and suburbs, will refer to the typical things that we must do, or better endure, every day (telephones, traffic, heat, smog, etc. etc.) ..  While the locations will change, the exploits of the protagonist will be devoted to other things, rather than blaming the people. Roman will begin to interact with animalsand things in a peaceful manner (stroke through the goats, etc) We will use all types of shots (close ups, medium shots, more open shots, only the legs that run, etc..) making the video smooth and dynamic. The choice of a shot or another will be determined during the editing by the emotionality of the video. During the first part of the video, where we'll shoot in a less spacious localization (city),we will use closer shots and a little more confused editing style. This choice will lead to the result of a feeling of "pressure" in the viewer's head. With the proceeding of the song, when we will be already in the field and in the mountains, the shots will be however increasingly open, looking for a sense of peace. Through this directing style we'll transmit to the viewer a feeling of "stress"and "tension" during the first part of the video, and a feeling of serenity as the song continues. In other words, the viewer, consciously and unconsciously, will be conducted to have a progressively more relaxed feeling while watching the video.  In this way we'll maximize the emphasis on the concept of the video and of the song.
