In Mexico, globalization began with the international treaties, for bring technology to our land, however it is important to question: how do they affect the country economically? It isdifficult to reach a conclusion because on the one hand, this globalization has helped us further develop the country, but then created more inequality, it is important to mention that Mexico has around12 free trade agreements, this means that our country has many opportunities to export products, but also has to compete against products from other countries, the most important treaties are NAFTAand the European Union, which seeks to promote direct investment and generate more jobs for the country.
In Mexico, globalization is helping to grow the country, "Globalization is a sustainedeconomic growth" (Samuelson). But on the other side is making even more the differences between social classes, the rich get richer and the poor, poorer. The economic development of our country has not beensignificant since international treaties have been signed, simply continued to increase in line with monetary inflation. One effect of globalization on our country is that farmers do not have themoney to buy the technology needed to compete with other countries, so that our country has disadvantages for the large companies of other nationalities, who have enough resources to export theirproducts to Mexico.
