We often think that global environmental problems beyond our capacity to act. We feel powerless and believe that we can not do anything except download on politics and technology to findsolutions. However, many of these problems originate in our model of production and consumption, which are largely responsible. 

When we make the small daily gestures to pull the light switch, we contribute tothe occurrence of undesirable phenomena for the planet, as the greenhouse effect, acid rain, the hole in the ozone layer, desertification and species extinction. 
    

The province of Jaen has aMediterranean climate characteristics clearly. That is, in general are poorly distributed rainfall throughout the year and is common during the summer months there are long droughts. As a result waterreserves are low.Paradoxically, Spain is among the ten countries of the world that consume more water per person; a waste. 
    

For this reason we must be aware that a simple gesture on our partcan have big consequences. 

Environmental care begins at home. Just need to change old habits and apply the theory of the "3 R's: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. 

Remember that this year the rainfallhas been poor and with the collaboration of all, we can reduce the problems of water scarcity.

Howcan we save energy at home?

* LIGHTING:
*Do not forget to turn off the lights when you leave the room and take advantage of natural light whenever possible.
*Use low energy bulbs.

*OVEN / FIRE:
* Gas stoves are cheaper and allow more precise regulation of the heat we need.
* Cover pot and use the pressure cooker.
* Avoid opening and closing the oven door during operation....
