Resumen de tristes trópicos
Para empezar habría que preguntarse: “¿Qué clase de libro es Tristes Trópicos?” En toda la obra observamos el aspecto narrativo e incluso novelesco que Levi Strauss imprime a la obra, es en este modo una suerte de Don Quijote moderno, un libro quetrata sobre el fin de los viajes, narrado como si fuera un viaje más. Es asimismo una incontestable obra científica, plagada de investigaciones, en las que la etnografía, la antropología social se dan la mano.
Otra manera de entender tristes trópicos es la crítica filosófica constante, a corrientes como el existencialismo, religiones como el budismo o el Islam y pensadores como Rousseau,Durkheim o Marx.
De este mismo modo, la obra se puede dividir en dos partes principales. La primera incluye los viajes que realiza nuestro autor hasta llegar al campamento caduveo, y el regreso. Y la segunda parte abordaría las investigaciones a las distintas tribus amazónicas.
Tratar de resumir la obra me parece una temeridad, por la cantidad de matices que contiene en cada una de las páginas. Pero...
