Will Burrows is a 14-year-old boy with white hair. He lives with hisstrange family in a small house in Highfield, London. Will’s mother watches TV all day, and his 12-year-old sister Rebecca washes the dishes, does the laundryand cooks dinner. Will’s father looks for old things in tunnels under the ground and Will helps him. But oneday, Wills’s father goes into a tunnel anddoesn’t come home.
Will and his friend Chester decide to look for Will’s father. One afternoon, they’re walking in a tunnel and suddenly, they see a street withhouses. People aren’t walking in the street but the streetlamps are on. What is this place? Read the book and find out!.

Will es un muchacho de 14 años con pelo blanco. Él vive con su extraña familia enuna pequeña casa en Highfield, Londres. La madre de Will mira la tele todo el día, y su hermana de 12 años Rebecca, lava a los platos, hace la lavandería ycocina la cena.
