“Policies and procedures should be properly communicated to ALL parties, regularly refreshed, posted on prominent places to be seen, become part of every individual. Only then has it got a proper chance to influence the behavior of the employees to such an extent that it might manifest in a company culture.”

Policy:
A policy can bedefined as a “set of principles and guidelines” or “a course of action, guiding principle, or procedure considered expedient”. Considering this definition, we can refer to a policy as actions that need to be taken or as procedures to be followed. If the series of steps contained in these procedures are followed, it should result in the achievement of the management long term goals.

Objectives:These guidelines are formulated and enforced by the site administrators, with the purpose of providing the users of Moodle with a trustworthy source of best practices, which will help our organization to standardize the usage of this tool. We expect every editing user to comply with the procedures contained in this document.
