WHAT IS PDFSAM?
PDF Split and Merge is a very simple, easy to use, free, open source utility to split and merge pdf files. It has a simple graphicalinterface to let the user choose pdf files, split or merge them. Pdfsam is written with Java Swing that is “a set of Java class libraries provided as part of Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SE) to support building graphics user interface (GUI) and graphics functionality for client applications that will run on popular platforms such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Mac OSX. “1 Pdfsam uses someexternal libraries such as:
