Television is a media that due to its commercial nature, has the quality of attract people, using different types of programming that amuse or entertain the viewers, the problem comes whenpeople lose control over the time for watching the television. This problem brings consequences not only of academic type, but also brings health problems, psychological, economic and family. Someconsequences that result from excessive use of television are:
Eye disorders: The place where is the television must be lit and the display doesn't have to be closer than 3 meters because of eyestrain andeye disorders, It can also provoke headache.
Sleep disturbances: To watch violent programs, exciting or too noisy at bedtime can cause insomnia and nightmares in children.
