The fall of the Twin Towers

One of the most frightening and disastrous days for New York happened on September 11, 2001. This was the complete demolition and destruction of the world trade center or also known as the twin towers, which came to its end and was part of a terrorist attack on the United States. “These towers represented a new approach to skyscrapers in that they were to be verylightweight and involved modular construction methods in order to accelerate the schedule and to reduce costs.” (Musso, 2001)The innovative design of the twin towers will always be remembered for several reasons, and it has remained in the thousands of hearts of the people affected by it.
There are two main reasons and factors that helped complete the twin towers construction. This is structure andmaterials used and secondly, the architecture planned as well as looking for the right place to build these towers, but who was really in charge of planning such a creation?
The present investigation will be about the world trade center or the twin towers destruction and what factors supported its creation and demolition. The importance of this research lies on reflecting about the reasons whythis magnificent manufacture became so popular as well as how it helped thousands of people by giving them jobs, and how it became a saved up memory in our minds and for some people a trauma, because they lost so much. This analysis will also include how the world trade center became an advantage for creating


something even bigger and better, showing anyone who hates the United States thatAmericans can’t be thrown down that easily, and that even though they were greatly affected, they’ve moved on and got past such a terrible incident
This research has five parts, the introduction which will introduce what the study work will be about; the first chapter, which will inform us about the two main reasons that caused a positive impact on the establishment of the twin towers, while thesecond chapter will also talk about the two main reasons that contributed to the destruction of the world trade center, but it will also include information on how this terrorist attack helped an improved design of it. Finally, a presented conclusion and the bibliography consulted to perform this investigation.














TWIN TOWERS IDEA AND STRUCTURE
Structure and idea orplan. The structure of the world trade center or twin towers was amazing; and it had no comparison to any other buildings that had ever been made or constructed. It was a place located in Lower Manhattan, New York City. This complex opened on April 4, 1973, and it dominated the skyline as Manhattan´s tallest structures and it was pure ingenuity created by humans. It was two towers with a city insideeach one of them, and it had massive systems and it allowed people to work there and make it an environment because they could eat there and shop and do just about anything. The most prideful day was when the construction of such grand buildings began and how the structure and organization took place. It began as a simple dream, and then a drawing on a piece of paper to a massive creation andsatisfaction once it was fulfilled. The idea originated in 1973 by a man named David Rockefeller who was one of industrialist John D. Rockefeller’s many grandsons. He proposed this idea after World War II, a decade before Rockefeller ever got involved but he was the one person who led others to believe it would be a good idea, and as the years passed, he involved more and more people.
