1. INTRODUCTION
- This didactic unit contains one session that we will carry out in the class in December.
- The students havebetween 11–12 years old and there are studying the sixth course of primary public school.
- The school is in Valencia, with a medium-low socio-cultural and economic level.
- This unit isdesigned for a class with 15 students.
- We know that students have previous knowledge about sports. All children normally practice some sport in their daily life or in the school. That isbecause sport is very important in our lives. Moreover students have previous knowledge about English Language, like grammar (prepositions, verbs, gramatical structures...) and vocabulary.
2. UNITOBJECTIVES
- To know the different sports which are played in the world.
- To increase and strengthen the vocabulary related with the topic.
- Learn to relate each sport with his material.- To participate actively in the classroom and made the activities in the moment.
- To express himself correctly in English.
- To express what they are thinking or want to say in English.
-To be able to describe any situation in English.
- To make a suitable use of the grammatical structures.
