Unknown

Luhan wakes up to the annoying beep of his cellphone. He pick its up from the nightstand with eyes closed before looking at the bright screen. "You have 1 new message.” Who the fuck would send me a message at 4 AM?, he thinks. Without giving It a second thought, he closes the phone and goes back to the warmth of his blanket, hoping to daze off in just a few minutes.
But it doesn’t happen. Hedoesn’t fall back asleep because the curiosity is killing him. Nobody ever sends him any kind of messages, not even during the day… but why did they suddenly decided to do it today, exactly at this time of the morning?
Unable to fall asleep, he picks up his phone once again and opens the message.
The sender doesn’t have a number, all it says is “Unknown”, but the message makes his stomach twist.“I hope I didn’t woke you up my dear. I can’t stop thinking about you… I hope you are doing well.”
He stares at the words written in the message for a long time before doing anything else. This is obviously a wrong number. Yes, this is what it is, because Luhan is sexy, free & single and he’s ready too bingo, so there’s no way someone would have sent that message to him.
He’s about to reply tothe person telling them that they had the wrong number, but then he decides not to do it. There’s no particular reason, after all he’s not hurting anyone and he wants to spice up his boring life. Even just a little bit.

And that was the first message of many more to come. Luhan would read them all, but he would never reply. Slowly, without realizing, he started falling for the sender. That“Unknown” person and their sweet words, he loved the way they would write to their loved one, always in such a tender and loving way. Whoever was their lover was indeed a really lucky person.
Soon, he started envying Uknnown’s “sunshine”, or at least that’s how he would call his lover. He wished he was actually the one who would make Unknown have all those feelings for him, he wished he was the onewho inspired Unknown to write all those messages every day.
But then, one day, Unknown sent a message. This one was different from the rest.

“I know you never reply to me sunshine, but It’s okay. That won’t make me stop loving you. My love for you Is still stronger than anything else. I’m so happy I’m going to be in the city in just 2 days. I can’t wait to meet you.”

Those last 6 words wereenough to make Luhan drop his phone to the floor.
He was shaking.
Meet. Meet You.
So, unknown was actually coming to his city and he would be waiting to meet his sunshine, but the thing here is that their lover would never know that, because those messages that were supposed to be for them were actually sent to Luhan.

This is such a tragic story… I feel so guilty, I should have told themthat this was a wrong number in the first place, he thought. But it’s never too late for this. Or… maybe yes?
Confused, he decided to wait until the next message arrived, waiting for a miracle to happen.

The next day came and went, no new messages arrived. Maybe Unknown realized he had the wrong number and now he’s actually sending messages to his “sunshine.”
He felt releived for that, butalso, a little part of his heart died a bit. He was sure he would miss Unknown’s messages.

Then, the next day something happened. A new message came. Luhan almost pissed himself when he read it.
“Hello sunshine, I just came to the city. I’m sorry I didn’t sent you a message yesterday. I’m so excited! I’ll be waiting for you in the park today at 5. I love you.”

Shit…. Now what is he supposedto do?! It’s too late to tell Unknown he has the wrong number. Luhan knows this isn’t right, but he makes the decision to show up at the park today.
Without realizing, he gets dolled up for the “meeting”. He puts a little bit of extra effort on his appereance today, just for Unknown. Because deep inside, he hopes he had sent all those messages to him. Maybe he never had the wrong number....
