The city of Mercedes presents many spaces where sculpture has a great value. Since ancienttimes man has had the need to sculpt. Sculpture was in principle a single role, immediate use; subsequently added a ritual, magic, funerary and religious function. This functionality was changingwith the historical evolution, becoming a primarily static or simply an ornamental and became a lasting or ephemeral element. The city of Mercedes is example of this and we highlight here some of thespaces and sculptures that are representative of this art.
