¿Valió La Pena?
Last year, a new student came to school. His name was Juan Diego, and his
house was located very near to mine. He had a little brotherwho is one year
older than my brother. One day, my brother, who is very friendly and has a lot of
energy, scheduled a meeting with Juan’s family, and that’show my family and I
become friends of them. Ever since then, we go out with them every now and
then, either to eat, to travel or just to have fun.
Atthe beginning of this year, we decided to go to “La Caleta del Inca”, a cove
which is located a few km. away from Camana. As we were on the highway, Irealized Juan’s car was going somewhat slow and my dad had to go slower so
they wouldn’t get lost. We arrived in more time than expected because of that.
Bythe time we got to the Camana, Juan and his brother were totally bored and
exhausted, complaining about the trip being to long; my brother and I, on
theother hand, were happy and having fun.
We were all excited when we finally we arrived to “La Caleta del Inca”. There
was just one problem: there was spacefor just one car to go down the dirt road
at a time. As we were going down, an enormous truck appeared in front of us.
We had to slowly go by its side, andour truck was just about to fall down the
path. Luckily nothing happened, but the experience was really frightening.
We returned home the same day.Anyway, maybe it wasn’t worth it for Juan’s or his brother to travel a total of six
hours, but it surely was for me. I liked doing something different for a change.
