Introduccion
The third assignment is in relation to the personal values, organizational values and ethical decisions in marketing. The personal values can helps to get to knowpeople and many characteristics about them. The values may depend of the culture and the country that the employee comes from. The religious conviction can also influence in a determination of a decisionif to make the right or wrong. The personal and organizational values can differ in private and public sectors. Managers in the private sector shared the values more than the managers in the publicsector. The personal values are very important in hiring a manager can demote unethical practices and promotes work behaviors.
Personal Values
The personal values are determined by how thepeople act or their action. The values represent convictions maybe personal or social. The values cannot be flexible. The personal values are very important in the development of employee and theorganization that he works. In management literature we find different information and discussions about the impact that personal values can affect the work and the behavior of the manager. This problematicis researched in sociological and psychological books.
Morris Massey is a sociologist and he was award from the International Management Council for his significant contribution to the field ofmanagement and human relations. According to Massey values are formed in three periods, imprint period from birth to 7 years old, modeling period from 8 to 14 years and socialization period from 15 to 21years.
Personal Values is an internal reference of what is good or bad, beneficial, important, useful, beautiful and constructive.
