cOMpAny Activity Pisco Bauzá produces, bottles, markets, and exports premium quality piscos, alcoholic drinks,wines, and cocktails. histOry Pisco Bauzá was founded in 1925 by Spanish immigrant Lorenzo Bauzá. It is Chile’s largest family-owned pisco company and has the country’s greatest enological and qualitytradition. It has been an industry leader in terms of excellence in pisco production for more than 85 years and focuses solely on premium products. Pisco Bauzá has earned more than 40 gold medals inthe most important international competitions and was named the best pisco in the world by the World Association of Wine & Spirits Writers and Journalists as well as the Wine of the Year. prOductiOnMethOds Pisco Bauzá has vineyards at more than 1,200 m (3,900 ft) above sea level that are ideal for producing better quality alcohols. The products are made with the finest and most aromatic Muscatelgrapes in Chile’s pisco zone, which are double distilled for superior purity alcohol, a process that distinguishes Bauzá from other pisco makers. The pisco is then aged for a long period in oak barrelsto allow it to age and reach the perfect balance between fruit and oak. Pisco Bauzá is registered with the Clean Production Accord. prOduct descriptiOn Pisco Bauzá has a wide range of productsincluding Pisco Especial 35°; Pisco Bauzá Reservado 40°, the most award-winning pisco in the world; Bauzá Grapefruit Cocktail 12°, Bauzá Mango Cocktail 12°, and Bauzá Pisco Sour 14°. All of the products arepresented 750 cc bottles in an individual metalicized box. Other products include Pisco Especial 35° and Pisco Bauzá Reservado 40° in 375 cc formats. prOductiOn vOluMe & prOJectiOns Pisco Bauzácurrently sells close to 120,000 9-liter cases per year in the Chilean market. Its plant has the capacity to increase to 300,000 9-liter cases to supply international markets.
