ACTIVE VOICE PASSIVE VOICE
• Active voice: It is normal, in which the subject performs the verb action.
The doctors operated on my cousin today.
• Passive voice: It is formed with the verb SERPARTICIPLE and in it the subject performs the action but not receiving it.
My cousin will be operated today by the doctor.

To understand this issue is necessary torecall the types of verbs, ie conjunctive (that link), transitive (what action pass to a being distinct from the subject; also identify whether the verb asked what? And answer is direct object: OD) andintransitive (the action is on the same subject.)

This because the active voice is constructed as follows:

Subject verb direct object

Example:
John writes a letter.
S: Juan
P: write a letterNP: type (transitive verb)
OD (what?): A letter.
I sent some flowers to your home.
S: tacit (I)
Q: I sent some flowers to your home.
NP: I sent (transitive verb)

D) At the hearing Joan wrote a manifesto.REMEMBER: there is no verb OD and therefore there is no active voice.

Passive voice. It is formed by a taxpayer or patient (not performing the action but the recipient). The action made by a staffcomplement that is in the predicate.

Taxable passive verb (formed with the auxiliary ser-be tense when the verb is active voice, plus the participle of the verb in the passive voice) Completion agent(who performs the action and is preceded by the preposition POR).

EXAMPLE:
The teacher Rodriguez will direct the concert. (Active voice)
For the teacher will conduct the concert Rodriguez...
