Working out of sight.

We are the lease known to the public eye,
Working behind gates, doors and fences,
Many of our family and friends ask why;
We work with criminals of many looksmany faces,
It’s intriguing to know, we ask our self the same question
But when it comes down to an answer, its all perplexion.
No mater what drives us to do it, it’s a great sensation
When acall is out for “Back-up”, we put out like champions.
We stand together; brothers and sisters like a Nation
We see all colors, creed, faith and redemption.
No mater what happens, we work together, noobjection.
For our main goal is to go home safe; no exceptions.

We serve the public and they don’t understand,
They only see what’s on TV. or the news stand.
Then they scream and shout behind apicket sign,
They should all come in and walk in enemy line,
They’re eyes will be opened; they’ll see what I seen with mine.

There is a special place for all in this world
Who gave it all forthe public and they’re home.
We put our life on the line and go on,
Until the public finds out something went wrong.
Correctional Law Enforcement, out of sight, working strong…

Hoy tevi pasar, en la distancia te quice hablar.
Yo te miraba, pero no veia tus ojos, no veia tu mirar.
Andabas con prisa, andabas con prisa en tu andar,
Por eso no pudiste ver todas las maravillas que tequeria ensenar.

Siempre que estas en aprietos, mi nombre mencionas con desperacion.
Yo se que tus sentimientos son Buenos, puros yllenos de emocion…
Y no me cansare de esperar que algun dia me prestes atencion.

Lo has leido algunas veces cuando te sobra eltiempo, buscando esperanza
En los tiempos Buenos y malos de tu vida, nunca olvides mi presencia,
Pues yo no olvido la tuya, y te conozco desde antes de tu inocencia…
