RESUMEN ESTRUCTURADO

PREGUNTA DE INVESTIGACION
¿Cuál es la prevalencia de VIH y Chagas en la comunidad “El Paso”?Hipótesis
* Es probable que de la población en estudio un porcentaje presente VIH y Chagas
* Es posible encontrar alta prevalecía de Chagas en áreas rurales y comprobar los casos positivos para VIH en El Paso.

OBJETIVOS
* OBJETIVO GENERAL.
Determinar la prevalencia de personas infectadas con VIH y Chagas en “El Paso”.
* OBJETIVOS ESPECIFICOS.
Identificar el número depersonas infectadas por VIH y Chagas según grupo etáreo y sexo

Diseño Metodológico de la Investigación
Tipo de estudio: descriptivo, experimental y transversal.
Sujeto de estudio:
* Pacientes del Centro de Salud El Paso
* Alumnos de Colegios “El Paso” y “Oscar Alfaro”.
Lugar de estudio: Comunidad “EL Paso”
Población: 336 personas de área rural endémica, de diferentes edades y sexoCriterios de selección:
Inclusión: Los pacientes que dieran su consentimiento.

Materiales y métodos
Las muestras de sangre que se tomaran por via venosa y traspasaran a tubos de ensayo. Muestras de VIH y Chagas: se procesaran con tiras de pruebas rápidas, en caso de ser positivos, se remítiran al laboratorio LABIMED y SEDES.

Resultados
NUMERO TOTAL DE PERSONAS: 336 (100%)REACTIVAS A VIH: 0 (0%)
REACTIVAS A CHAGAS: 16 (5%)
NO REACTIVAS A CHAGAS (95%)

Conclusiones
Chagas:5% reactivos y 95% no reactivos.
Prevalencia de VIH: cero en personas estudiadas.

• It is likely that the study population present a percentage Chagas and HIV
• It is possible to find high prevalence of Chagas disease in rural areas and check for HIV positive cases in El Paso.

To determine the prevalence of people infected with HIV and Chagas disease in El Paso"

Identify the number of peopleinfected with HIV and Chagas disease according to age group and sex

DESIGN METHODOLOGY OF THE INVESTIGATION
Type of study: descriptive, experimental and mainstream.
Subject of study:
• Patient Health Center “El Paso”
• College Students "El Paso" and "Oscar Alfaro.
Place of study: Community "El Paso"
Population: 336 people from endemic rural areas, of different ages and sex
Selectioncriteria:
Inclusion: Patients that give their consent

MATERIALS AND METHODS

Blood samples that were taken by venous puntion and transmits it via test tubes. HIV and Chagas samples will be processed with strips of rapid tests, if positive, be sent to the laboratory LABIMED and SEDES.

RESULTS
TOTAL NUMBER OF PEOPLE: 336 (100%)
A REACTIVE HIV: 0 (0%)
REACTIVE CHAGAS A: 16 (5%)
NO TOREACTIVE CHAGAS (95%)

CONCLUSIONS
Chagas: 5% and 95% non-reactive reagents.
Prevalence of HIV: zero on people studied (0%)

1. RESUMEN.

El siguiente trabajo nos permitirá determinar el numero y tipo de personas según sexo ygrupo etáreo que puedan ser portadores de VIH o estén infectados con Chagas en los colegios y personas que consultan al Centro de Salud de la Comunidad “El Paso”, así como el análisis a partir de los resultados encontrados de los métodos de prevención de estas dos problemáticas.
