Violence at Television News*- *Bad for Kids
In conclusion, television news is a great media to reach people from different countries and share the same information in a quick andeffective way. But, nowadays news’s programs contain a great quantity of violence which is causing serious effects on kids. It is causing them to disobey their moms, throw things atpeople, fight, etc. Making them every time less compassionate for the violence that is surrounding them in real life. Children would think that violence is normal, because they havealready seen it a lot on the television so it would be very easy for them to show acts of violence against people. I think that this is a real problem that is happening today. Even though,the topic of television violence has been in discussion for years, there are still many things to do to moderate violence and stop it. I challenge you to every time you see atelevision program try to think if what you are seeing contains excess of violence and if later it is going to affect your actions or your children, if you have any.
