It was Sunday night and we were all getting ready for our first day of school tomorrow morning I, as usual was slacking off and not doing anything I would rather not go. I was always the popular girl who went out with the hottest guys and everyone was afraid of me. I really wanted to know why. Anyways back to reality myname is violet and what they didn’t know was that I the most popular in school was a vampire. I’m only 16 you probably that I was older, but no I’m not. My brother Damon, my twin is half human. Your probably wondering how its possible that my brothers half human right ? Well my dad is human and my mom is a vampire they fell in love which wasn’t supposed to happen, but it did. My moms name is Esmeshe doesn’t stay her same age since she was born vampire so no worries. My dad isn’t a vampire he didn’t want to be turned into one. I was the only one of the two of us that’s full vampire so I rather be full than half . Damon doesn’t like being half vampire he’d rather be full human. I don’t know why he doesn’t want to be a vampire. it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Hunting is theworst part of being a vampire, I don’t like killing so I steal blood from the blood bank… my mom on the other hand hunts with my brother and since he’s only half human he doesn’t need as much blood as me and my mom. They hunt down humans well to be exact teenage girls. They hunt the girls that Damon hates or ex girlfriends and they’re pretty tasty.






‘Beep’ ’Beep’ ’Beep’ it was Mondaymorning 6:15 to be exact I jumped into the shower and got out at 6:32. I curled my hair, put on my eyeliner, put on mascara and my just bitten lip stain. Its 7:45 and the bus is outside and I’m leaving, thank god. I leave before my brother does and as soon as I walk out the bus says St. Vladimir’s and I immediately think great a gay kid school. I walk in the bus and there’s a boy staring at me.I don’t know his name but he looks in my eye as if he were looking into my soul. I sit in the far back and alone, there’s a girl next to me who you could tell right away is new just like me. I ask for her name but she doesn’t respond. So I just put on my ear phones and turn up my music. The boy from earlier has all my classes and he sits next to me in one. From what I hear I think his name isEdward. He tried to make conversation with me but I pretended to listen to my I pod. I’m new also but I don’t care I’d rather be alone than be with someone that I don’t like. I have honors so like I’m a super nerd. I just want to go home already its barely third period and lunch is next, great another moment to be even more of a loner. As I walk to the line to get my lunch Edward rushes towards me andasks if he could sit next to me and I say sure to be nice of course. As soon as I walk to my chair he pulls it and sits me down and I cant believe my eyes. Everyone was staring and my first thought was that wow probably everyone thinks that we’re going out, great. I hate that. As I was about to take a bite of my sandwich he says to me, “ hi, I’m Edward and you? “ there was a long pause before Ianswered his question. “violet” I said 5 minutes later. There was an awkward silence while we were munching away on our food and that’s when a freshman came up to me and said “hi ! I’m Samantha I work for the yearbook and I would love a picture of the cutest couple of our school so? , what do you say?” as Edward was about to say yes I turn around to look at her and say “ hi, I don’t care for who orwhat you work for but we’re not going out and I don’t want to be in the stupid yearbook so excuse because we’re eating, so can you please leave so we can finish our lunch in peace, thank you.” the girl just stared at us in amazement and walked away. Edward just turned to look at me and I don’t look up I don’t want to look up I think I was too loud and probably all of St. Vladimir’s is looking...
