Whisky History
Whisky is an alcoholic beverage made for distillation of fermented malt from cereals like
barely ,wheat,rye and corn .and its ageing in wooden barrel,traditionally inwhite oak.
This alcoholic beverage is sold with an alcoholioc contents between 40 and 62 % of size/bulk
The term whisky or whiskey comes from scots gaelic "uisge betah" and from irishgaelic
"visce beathadh" that stands for and from latin aqua vitae or aquavit.
The first document got from whisky date from 1405 in Ireland ,where it was distilled by the
monks .Itwas also mentioned in Scotland in 1496 .Nevertheless believed that whisky had
already existed since several hundreds of years ago .When and where it was distilled are
dataunknown and because of few documentation existing the origin of the beverage is
uncertain.

Gaelic, the whisky is called "uisge Beatha" or "water life".
whisky wasfirst distilled in Scotland in 1494 when the friar Juan Cor got 6 bushel of malt this was equivalent to 1500 bottles of whisky.It was introduced to people as a medicine .It was alsoconsiderate the only antidote known for pain ,therefore several amounts were drank in funerals .with time ,drinking and toast were in fashion.
In the centuries 17 y 18 the cheap whisky wasused for preserving dead
Groups of smugglers were quickly formed in everywhere .and the manufacture of illegal scotch whisky was increased a lot.
the judgments were few because thesmugglers were intelligent in hide their cottage and that made difficult to find it.
the first data got of a distillery date from 1690 when is mentioned "Ferintoch" from Forbes of Culloden.
